2011 Recruiting: Top 5 TE’s

#1 A.C Leonard 6′3 220 Interlachen, FL

A.C committed to UF during his junior season while he was attending Ribault High School in Jacksonville but will play his senior season at Interlachen High School. A.C is a raw athlete who could play LB also but with his ability on offense TE seems like a perfect fit and with UF maybe only taking one TE this year A.C seems like a perfect fit.

#2 Brandon Fulse 6′5 240 Fort Meade, FL

Brandon has stated that he is being recruited by the Gators to play TE but he is also a quality DE and his high school coach is former Gator WR Jamelle Cornelius but also watch the Crimson tide here because they are also making a strong push for this quality athlete.

#3 Nick O’Leary 6′4 230 Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Nick is the grandson of the golf legend and Ohio State alum Jack Nicklaus but his father attended and played football for Georgia so it would seem this would be a major uphill battle for the Florida Gators from the start, however he did have three teamates sign with the Gators in 2010 so maybe that gives UF some sort of shot at landing this TE but I doubt it.

#4 Jay Rome 6′5 Valdosta, GA

Being from the peach state one would think Rome would be headed to UGA but Rome is a Clemson legacy and really think this one is pretty much in the bag for the Tigers but Rome will hear from every top school and is considered the best TE in the 2011 class.

#5 Austin Seferian-Jenkins 6′7 245 Gig Harbor, WA

Austin is a big target with big time upside but this will be a tough pull considering he is from Washington and all of the PAC-10 schools will be all over this kid and in the end I believe he will stick close to home at Washington or USC.
